Cyclopt is growing fast and we are looking for an ambitious, results-driven Software Engineer passionate about working on both front-end and back-end to become part of our Product Unit. As a Cyclopt Software Engineer, your main responsibility will be to work with cutting-edge technologies in order to Design, Build, and Test new features in JavaScript (React and Node.js)
About the job
- Work in an agile software development team constantly trying to improve the adopted software engineering practices.
- Collaborate with our sales and marketing department in order to identify and develop new services that provide added value to our existing and potential customers
- Implement functionality that improves our cloud platform and provides additional features to our customers
- Develop APIs that enable our cloud platform to integrate with more code-hosting facilities and services
Requirements
We want you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer in the JavaScript ecosystem (Node.js / React).
- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software development practices and methodologies
- Experience in Agile development methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
We want you even more if you have experience in:
- Software Quality assessment methodologies
- Solution Design, preferably in SaaS environment
- Automated Testing frameworks in JavaScript
- Non-relational databases (MongoDB) and message brokers/queues (RabitMQ)
