Data team plays a critical role in shaping the way we are making decisions based on data and, to make sure we’re doing that in the best way possible, we’re now looking for a talented Mid/Senior Data Engineer to work in our data team.

Here’s what you’ll be doing as a Data Engineer:

Develop and support existing data pipelines from our key business systems to our data lake on AWS.
Develop new and support existing data transformation models to populate our DWH
Build data validation rules and data quality monitors for data quality assurance
Spend time improving the performance of our data platform, and help us stay up to date on all best practices
Help us implement and maintain data governance across the company

Here’s what we’d love from our new Data Engineer:

Very good SQL knowledge
Experience in performance tunning on Analytical databases (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.)
Familiar with data integration patterns and tooling, including ELT/ETL, replication, and event streaming to support batch and near real-time data needs
Knowledge of data lake design and implementation, columnar storage formats (Parquet), and partitioning
Hands-on Python, Spark.
Good knowledge of database performance tuning and data modeling techniques

And if you can also do this stuff, even better:

You are a good communicator and can use English effectively at work
You can champion engineering innovation and best practices
You enjoy sharing your experience with other engineers and helping others to succeed

Data modeling and transformation: dbt, Glue, Python, Lambda
CI/CD: Github

Monthly salary from 3400 EUR/gross depending on the level of experience.
