About the role

We’re seeking a mid-level IT Administrator to oversee our IT infrastructure, ensure optimal performance and security standards, aligning with business goals and industry. The role involves managing email services, end users’ devices, providing IT support, enhancing IT systems, and maintaining documentation.

Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT services and the effective management of our resources. Been part of a dynamic team where collaboration and teamwork are crucial and helping less experienced team members level-up is profoundly beneficial to the team's success.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives
  • End users support, onboarding/offboarding, etc
  • Monitoring and maintaining infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages
  • Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats
  • Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data
  • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
  • Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration
  • Good communication skills and excellent team player

Requirements

  • At least a minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role
  • Good experience with IT systems, Ticketing, asset/inventory management, UEM, WiFi, networks, and related technologies
  • Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g. Antivirus, F/W)
  • Google Workspace Administration
  • Atlassian tool administration knowledge on JIRA and Confluence is a plus
  • Professional certifications are a plus
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
