Microsoft Power Apps Developer (R&D COO Office)

The R&D COO Office are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Microsoft Power Apps Developer to join our Business Strategy and Intelligence team.  

The  focus of the R&D COO Office is to enable the R&D organization to create, maintain , and rollout high-quality world class products in an efficient manner by ensuring planning and execution of our product releases, aligned ways of working across teams, management of strategic programs and projects and communication according to the Rhythm of the Business.

As a Microsoft Power Apps Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions using Microsoft Power Apps. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and other developers to create innovative and user-friendly applications that address complex business requirements.

Your role will be responsible for working in a development role with Microsoft Power Apps, Model-driven and Canvas apps, security capabilities, Dataverse, Entities, Business Process flow, and Integration services. Specifically, it will include;

• Responsible for developing new and improving existing canvas and model-driven apps
• Implementing integrated solutions connecting to multiple data sources
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IFS to gather and understand business requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and create data models, entities, and relationships within Power Apps.
• Build intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, leveraging Power Apps components and controls.
• Working with Power Automate, and building custom connectors
• Integrating Power BI reports 
• Engaging and contributing with multiple teams across IFS to define and transform requirements
• Documenting developments including the technical setup and process
• Presenting and training on the developments

• Experience in design, development, testing, test automation, debugging, and maintenance of software
• Experience in MS PowerApps is an absolute requirement
• Competent and experienced in documentation, presentation and training
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience developing applications using Microsoft Power Apps, including canvas apps and model-driven apps.
• Strong proficiency in building user interfaces, forms, and controls within Power Apps.
• Proficiency in Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) for creating workflows and automation.
• Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and experience designing data models within Power Apps.
• University degree or equivalent professional qualifications.

Desirable: 

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, or other related technologies is a plus.
