Microsoft D365 Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled D365 Solutions Architect who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).

  • Lead the planning, design, estimation, development and implementation of Dynamics solutions based on established patterns and best practices, working with the development teams as well as directly with customers.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for solutions, including architecture diagrams, high level and detailed design documents, configuration and user guides.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, robust, and maintainable.
  • Customise D365 applications using out-of-the-box features, custom plugins, workflows, and scripts.
  • Design and implement integrations with other systems and applications.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and technical staff.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement enhancements to maximize system efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Mentor and train junior developers and team members.
  • Continue to develop product and technology knowledge in order the deliver the best solutions for the customer.
  • Liaise directly with customers to gather/refine requirements.
  • Management of solutions through the application lifecycle.

Essential

  • Demonstrated architecture experience leading development of solutions using the Microsoft Dynamics platform and core technologies and associated ALM strategies
  • Experience delivering Dynamics integrations with APIs or third-party solutions
  • Demonstrated experience of leading Dynamics migrations and upgrades
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Microsoft stack (.NET, JavaScript, ASP.NET, MVC, C# .Net for Plugins and custom workflows, Integrations using .NET)
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 workflows (internal and Power Automate)
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS and/or KingswaySoft
  • Experience developing solutions using Dynamics 365 CE applications (Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights)
  • Experience working with testing strategies and tools for Dynamics solutions
  • Ability to demonstrate experience with Non-Functional Requirements
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering enterprise scale solutions
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and working in DevOps teams
  • Eligibility for SC clearance or already Security cleared, this requires a minimum of 5 years address history in the UK

Desirable

  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps (Canvas and Model Driven), Power Pages, Power Virtual Agents, Power BI)
  • Experience in delivering implementations through Success by Design
  • Experience with the wider Microsoft 365 platform including SharePoint and Teams
  • Experience integrating Dynamics solutions with APIs or third-party solutions
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and backlog/progress tracking
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure PaaS/Azure Integration Services
  • Experience of additional Dynamics modules (Field Service, Project Automation, IOM)
  • Microsoft Certifications (MB-910, MB-200, MB-210, MB-230, MB-240, and/or PL-900, PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, PL-600, PL-7000 series, AZ-900)

Location: This role can be delivered in a hybrid nature from one of these offices Dublin, Belfast, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh or London.
