Microsoft 365 Engineer

In a nutshell:

We are seeking a professional to undertake the role of defining, designing, and implementing a Digital Workplace (Microsoft 365) setup to support a segment of Eurofins’ Shared Services, encompassing 4,000 employees across approximately 60 locations. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in both BUILD and RUN, collaborating with a team of highly qualified Application/Cloud/Network Engineers in a small, cross-functional, and specific deliverables-oriented team.

In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Engaging in changes, service requests, incidents, and standard operating procedures related to Microsoft 365 (70%).
• Streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency through reporting automation (20%).
• Defining, implementing, and reporting on Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategic initiatives (5%).
• Handling other miscellaneous tasks as needed (5%).

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong experience in the following areas:

• Exchange/Exchange Online
• OneDrive for Business/Network-Attached Storage
• Microsoft Teams/Skype
• SharePoint/SharePoint Online
• Overall knowledge of Microsoft 365 service
• Automation skills: Proficient in automation tasks using tools such as Graph API, PowerShell, Azure Workbooks, Azure Functions, Power Automate, Logic Apps, and Teams Chatbots.
• Identity and Access Management
• Azure Active Directory and Azure design at an enterprise level
• Good command of the English language
• Collaborative team player
• Ability to read, understand, and create technical documentation for delivered solutions.

Skills considered a plus:

• Experience with supplemental technologies such as migration tools associated with modern workplace technologies.
• Experience with endpoint deployments, rollouts, deep troubleshooting, and upgrading to the latest Windows 10/11 version.
• Intune, Windows 365, SCCM
• On-Prem Active Directory
• Experience and understanding of workplace security with Microsoft EMS E3/E5 suite.
• Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Purview.
