THIS POSITION HAS A START DATE OF 30TH SEPTEMBER

Requirements

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the business change aspects of a Microsoft 365 tenant migration project, focused on migrating multiple (x4) separate M365 tenants from different business units over to the central corporate M365 instance, including: Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Forms, Yammer, Accounts and Devices, On-premises file servers, Telephony (Both fixed and mobile), SSO applications in the source tenant.
  • Play a key role in discovery phases for each tenant, focusing on ‘as is’ processes and map the ‘to be’ state for each migration and create a business change and communication plan that will hand-hold each business unit and affected users through the migration.  This is a relatively untechnical user community, so it is paramount to ensure that each migration executes smoothly with no business interruption.
  • Work under the direction of the project manager and alongside a 3rd party supplier that is contracted to undertake the technical migration work.
  • The Business Change Consultant will have previous experience in business analysis roles and must have a strong background in Microsoft 365 suite of applications and productivity / EUC technologies in general.
  • The Business Change Consultant must possess sufficient knowledge to understand the migration approach, the tasks involved and potential technical issues that will present, for example, issues with bespoke configuration of tenants that make migration to a standard instance difficult.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days in central London and very occasional travel to other UK offices of the affected business unit
