Autonomously carries out the run and maintain of Messaging Environment, which includes but not limited E-mail, E-mail security, E-mail AutoSignature and E-mail Archiving systems.
Has basic technical knowledge of infrastructure components and concepts: Network (TCP/IP), Microsoft Active Directory (AD DS),Domain Name System (DNS), Servers, Storage, Database, Backup, Load balancing and Virtualization.
Has basic technical knowledge of messaging Infrastructure components and concepts: Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) , SMTP Message object, email header analysis, Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), E-mail disclaimer, E-mail Gateways, E-mail security etc.
Has basic technical knowledge of security concepts such as authentication, authorization, Multi-factor Authentication, digital certificate and E-mail security.
Has basic knowledge on understanding and writing PowerShell Scripts.
Has basic knowledge on understanding and writing regular expressions.
Monitor Messaging infrastructure and ensure it is healthy.
Troubleshooting issues related to Email infrastructure like email delivery.
Deploy windows patches and email infrastructure updates and fix reported security vulnerabilities.
Maintain documentation – includes assets, configurations, operation and troubleshooting procedures for messaging infrastructure.
Generate Reports related to messaging system.
Handel End-Users tickets and security incidents.
Preferred to have 3-5 years in Microsoft Exchange.
Adopt and learn new Messaging related technologies.
Has sound interpersonal skills to communicate with others (verbally and written).
Has passed at least one MCSE: Messaging certification exam.
Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related engineering field, or equivalent.
