About the role 🚀
The Merchant analyst is part of the Data team (which is part of the Product team), but is fully focused on the Merchant area. Bigblue's Merchant team is dedicated to onboarding, supporting, and expanding our customer base. We strive to help our merchants grow sustainably by providing expert guidance on Bigblue's product offerings, services, and e-commerce best practices.
As a Merchant Analyst within our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance of both our team and our customers. Your data-driven insights and business acumen will be essential in driving strategic initiatives and optimizing processes.
- Optimize Team Performance: Identify inefficiencies within the team, design data-driven tools and processes, and implement them to improve overall performance.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct ad hoc analyses and generate reports for management to inform strategic decisions.
- Streamline Reporting: Create and maintain streamlined reports accessible to the entire Merchant team and management, ensuring clarity and ease of use.
- Strategic Initiative Support: Share detailed analysis results with team members to inform and prioritize projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving successful implementation.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of processes, tools, and analyses.
- Routine Ownership: Own and manage key routines such as billing and CRM updates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in these processes.
- Customer Growth Recommendations: Utilize available customer data to identify opportunities for growth and provide strategic recommendations to help customers succeed.
Requirements 🙌
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a high-growth tech startup or a data-driven environment.
- Communication: French native speakers and written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SQL and spreadsheets, and deep experience with reporting tools and analyses.
- Problem-Solving: Strong consultative problem-solving skills with a focus on finding simple and robust solutions.
