As a result of our continued growth and expansion, we're seeking a Merchant Account Manager to join our team in Tokyo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists with evangelising how Merchants, Networks, Agencies and Publishers can all benefit from the Skimlinks product platform 
  • Own a portfolio of merchants across Japan and Globally and build rapport with them directly and via Affiliate networks 
  • Use data for compiling and analysing reports, to monitor and present back progress on existing merchant programs including top-performing publishers, and making strategic recommendations
  • Run reviews of existing merchant relationships and contributing to optimisation strategies
  • Build strong client relationships with Affiliate Networks through regular communication, quarterly Business Reviews and optimisations recommendations for the network and their merchant partners directly 
  • Work with marketing to develop marketing materials
  • Liaise with internal teams globally to understand some of the local and global challenges together with some recommendations 
  • Create detailed reports of performance and present in a QBR manner
  • Fluent written and spoken Japanese and English languages required

Requirements

  • Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships
  • 2-5 years of direct client management and a track record of driving revenue optimisation Year on Year 
  • Business communication fluency both in Japanese and English, for written and verbal, to work with regional and global teams
  • Effective presentation and negotiation skills
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Proven experience as an Account manager, working alongside other internal sales and marketing teams 
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience with marketing/advertising campaigns
  • Strong communication skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • BSc/BA in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • Fluent written and spoken Japanese and English languages required
