Merchandising Space Planner

Milani is seeking an experienced Space Planning Analyst whois responsible for optimizing retail space through strategic planogram management, ensuring seamless execution of merchandising initiatives that drive sales and enhance the customer experience. By leveraging data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration, this role supports the alignment of visual merchandising standards, space automation, and brand strategies with key business objectives. Through precision, efficiency, and innovation, the Space Planning Analyst plays a critical role in maximizing productivity and strengthening our retail partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain planograms for retail partners, ensuring alignment with merchandising strategies and sales goals.
  • Maintain product data integrity and ensure accurate SKU assignments within planograms.
  • Analyze space productivity using Space Planning and CKB software, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management to meet financial targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (PD, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service) as a merchandising expert.
  • Work with the Senior Director of Merchandising to prioritize and execute merchandising strategies.
  • Ad hoc projects upon request.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience with JDA Space Planning and Category Management software.
  • JDA Certification required.
  • Retail sales experience, preferably in the beauty industry.
  • 2+ years in project management, retail operations, or visual merchandising.
  • Strong Microsoft Suite proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.

Compensation

The base salary range represents the low and high end of Milani’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to location, education, skills, experience. The annual base salary range for this role is $80,000-$95,000.
