Our internship program is designed to expose students and new grads to key aspects of the retail industry. During the Internship program, you will work alongside the teams that come together to create the fastest-growing plus-size brand in fashion! You’ll be provided training, support and receive hands-on experience with challenging tasks that will provide you with meaningful, real-world experience to help build your resume and enter a career in omni-channel retail.      
    
In this role, you will gain experience executing the day-to-day tasks necessary to assist the Merchandising team. You’ll have the opportunity to develop a broad, general understanding of all merchandising functions, responsibilities, and cross-functional partnerships needed in order to provide merchandising support across multiple divisions/categories.      
   

What You'll Do:   

  • Supports in PO creation & change management
  • Corresponds with vendors; provides excellent service and attention.
  • Inputs and reconciles store price changes and sends purchase orders to vendors.
  • Follows up on incoming and late orders.
  • Assists Merchant in performing market analysis; participates in defining and outlining organizational strengths and weaknesses, determining external opportunities and threats.
  • Assists in style outs and maintains sample room.
  • Assists in meeting preparation.
  • Read customer review comments and provide feedback to merchant teams.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
   
   

What You’ll Need:    

  • Recent graduate or junior/senior currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Passion for fashion and a strong interest in the retail industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous retail or merchandising experience is a plus, but not required. 
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Must be available to work Monday-Friday (40 hours/week) for the duration of internship program. Internship dates: June 3 – August 9

Pay rate: $18.00/hr
