Senior Manager, Merchandising and Supplier Support (Operations)

The Senior Manager will lead and assist the Item Setup operations team in the successful planning, execution, implementation, and post-implementation support of PIM (Product Information Mgmt) deliverables as well as continuous improvement to ensure stakeholder value is achieved for the item setup process in the current RMS application and the future PIM application. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages the development and execution of change management, communications, business requirements analysis, testing, training, and support documentation for the PIM project.
  • Partners with executive sponsors, business owners and key stakeholders to drive business outcomes and improved business processes for Item Setup.
  • Develops team of 9 by providing timely mentoring, performance feedback and opportunities for growth.
  • Develops extensive knowledge of assigned function(s) to ensure the interaction of processes and the impact of those functions are fully understood.
  • Partners with I.T. and I.T. support teams to drive towards successful business outcomes and stakeholder value for Item Setup via the RMS application and PIM.
  • Ensures the team creates training strategies and materials to drive quality output for the item setup process in RMS and PIM.
  • Develops sound business transition plans under the guidance of their Director, Executive Sponsor(s) and Business Owner(s) for the PIM project.
  • Sustains and drives value by managing standard operating procedures, providing application support, and identifying enhancements and opportunities for continuous process improvement for the item setup process.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Vendor Portal for the PIM project.

 

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • College degree or equivalent business experience
  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.  SQL experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships and collaboration with cross functional partners and the Merchandising, Digital, and Information Technology teams.
  • Results oriented, self-motivated, and a strong sense of urgency.
