The Global Analytics team applies quantitative and technological expertise to empower the firm with advanced models, tools, and other analytical resources. Through cross-functional collaboration, we deliver actionable insights that drive informed business strategies, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure robust governance of our data and models. The Member of Global Analytics, Operations Analytics role is responsible for working cross-functionally to help design, implement and maintain systems and tools to scale operations for an expanding set of complex and critical global priorities.
This role requires adaptability due to the diverse range of data analytics projects you will manage to support the Client Operations org and scale our operational infrastructure, including settlement activities, asset reconciliations, and data automation. You should be able to engage with key stakeholders from Client Operations, Business Lines, Finance, and Product, Design and Engineering (PDE) to influence the direction, design, and execution of analytics initiatives for highly ambiguous areas. You should be comfortable with coding and handling a large set of data, and conducting data analytics projects independently.

Technical Skills:
- Advanced competency in SQL, Python, or other data query and analytical tools.
- Competency with business intelligence and data visualization applications such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Experience with database design, understanding complex data schemas and data extraction.
- Direct experience performing detailed and data intensive reconciliations with disparate datasets, preferably in the financial sector.
- Capability to learn and navigate various systems and tools such as GCP and JIRA.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Assist in the design and execution of analytics initiatives for highly ambiguous areas, including evolving business strategies and new products.
- Work cross functionally to establish data sources that serve the Client Operations org’s needs, identifying and advocating for process improvements and industry best practices.
- Participate in external and internal discussions to understand client use-cases, their nuances, and anticipate hurdles, while being aware of other key stakeholders to involve in discussions to deliver for our clients.
- Elevate key themes across the Client Operations org and collaborate with PDE teams for investments in developing long-term and scalable solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular audits, reconciliations, and data validation checks.
- Perform ad-hoc analytical projects and provide insights and recommendations to management regarding business strategy and operational efficiency.
Organizational Knowledge:
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends within the financial services and cryptocurrency sectors.
- Have a deep knowledge of the strategy of Anchorage Digital and its various business lines.
- Actively engage with different groups to work on understanding historical transactions as well as requirements for executing on go-forward global strategy.
- Ensures that knowledge is shared amongst the team and does not position themselves or others as a single point of failure.
Communication and Influence:
- Effectively collaborate and communicate with stakeholders across various teams, leveraging your expertise and insights to drive alignment and achieve project objectives.
- Able to communicate complex issues clearly and credibly across a wide range of audiences.
- Clearly communicates the status of work and proactively shares information that impacts other colleagues, manager, and team managers or leads.
You may be a fit for this role if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Statistics or related field.
- Experience in driving strategic as well as operational projects, supporting both operations and business stakeholders.
- Experience thriving and driving change in a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment.
- Experience partnering with globally distributed stakeholders/teams.
- Experience in writing, editing, or reviewing technical documents suitable for regulatory or banking context.
- Basic understanding of the crypto industry’s landscape, tokens/protocols, and different verticals in which they’re deployed (staking, governance, etc.).
Although not a requirement, bonus points if:
- You've kept up to date with the proliferation of blockchain and crypto innovations.
