This role is part of MED PLANET, a Lyon based fieldwork agency and a wholly owned subsidiary of M3 Inc. MED PLANET is a leading provider of data-collection services for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. We specialize in conducting both qualitative and quantitative market research in France.
- Quality checking and bilingual revision of English medical market research materials translated into Japanese by vendors
- Translation and post edition of medical market research materials from English to Japanese, and translation of answers to open-ended questions from Japanese into English
- Updating of materials previously translated in Japanese to match the latest English versions
- Approval of new JP vendors
- Maintaining of related translation memories
- Enable the Med Planet Translation Department to deliver the highest quality EN-JP translations to all M3 divisions
Education and Training Required:
- Master’s Degree in English-Japanese translation
- Additional training in medical translation appreciated
Minimum Experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience in medical market research translation from English to Japanese
Knowledge, Skill, Ability:
- Medical market research terminology
- Native level Japanese speaker
- Knowledge of Japanese culture and intricacies
- Very good knowledge of Trados Studio or another well-known CAT tool (e.g. MemoQ)
- Medical market research translation from English to Japanese
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
