A day in the life…
Wondering what a day in the life of an Technical Supervisor I at The Iowa Clinic might look like?
- Arrive at work in the morning – no night shifts here!
- Provides technical expertise/oversight to Leads/staff responsible for performing NUC/PET, MRI and CT imaging
- Work as a team, providing assistance, and sharing responsibilities
- Directs work to employees within the clinic
- Interviewing/hiring/coaching staff
- Provide guidance to Leads, addressing patient concerns
- Managing staff schedules, timecards, and PTO requests
- Responsible for leading appropriate staff in ACR and ICANL accreditation and re-accreditation
- Leave in the evening – hooray for working standard clinic hours!

Qualifications
- Minimum of Completion of AMA approved School of Radiologic
- ARRT registered/eligible. Current State of Iowa permit to practice Radiology
- 5+ years applicable clinical experience in medical imaging and systems environment
- Ideal candidate will possess working and/or technical knowledge of PET/NUT, MRI and CT
- Supervisory experience required.
- A desire to find a meaningful, fulfilling career
- Exceptional patient skills
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- A positive and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to assist physicians in professional manner
