Reporting to the UK MD, in this role you will lead our UK media strategy team in the delivery, and optimization of innovative media strategies.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Being involved with proprietary and partner tools to make it easy for our clients to get the best answer for any brief. This is not a conventional strategy job. We want someone who’s looking to make fewer slides, and create more sales; who can tie business & brand goals to activation
- Be our first call for pitches and final approval for strategic responses, with a proven track record here.. You have to be passionate about always improving your team’s performance and growing your agency’s business.
- A thought leader across complex digital media subject matter
- Partner in paid media product development; including the packaging, articulation and go-to-market strategies

Integration:
- The majority of our clients’ investment goes into a select group of digital platforms. You will be expected to understand them inside out and partner with our Paid Media and Investment Analytics leads, and our broader Brand & Creative Strategy teams to demonstrate how we grow faster than the category.
- Leading these multi-capability performance media teams will require a mixture of top-down and bottom-up planning: you should be as comfortable getting into the detail and discussing granular methodologies and tactics with channel teams, as you will be presenting these plans to CMOs.
- You will have the ability to take subject matter from specialist capabilities (Data Science, Creative, etc) and illustrate the benefits to in-channel activation.
- Generative AI is transforming our clients’ ability to create the most effective assets possible, and we want a strategic lead who understands and embraces the potential for greater media x creative integration through this technology (including in-platform AI across all channels).
- Collaborate with our Brandtech partners - especially Pencil - to grow our shared clients.
Background
- +8 years industry experience.
- Deep experience in performance media planning and/or commerce/retail media roles.
- Activation experience is an advantage; the ability to explain and advise on improving digital performance is critical.
- Led and secured multiple new business wins.
- Collaboration with account teams working on multi-market brands.
- Team leadership including examples of building and nurturing talent.
- Client & agency side is beneficial but not a deal-breaker.
