The Customer Service Researcher works within the core Media Research team and is the guardian of the Cision database, maintaining the accuracy and detail of the global media database through productive research. 

This role  includes safeguarding data quality and compliance measures to build out the Cision databases.   

What you'll do:

  • This role is to join the Media Research team and to be the guardian of the Cision DACH database, maintaining the accuracy and detail of German media data through productive research. Language speciality: German/English.
  • You will support our PR clients with the DACH media database and day-to-day queries and as such should possess excellent customer service skills. The Customer Service position includes safeguarding data quality and compliance measures to service the Cision databases.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaboration both with internal teams and external (PRs / Journalists) is a must. It can be a fast-paced environment and the candidate should be target driven and be able to keep up-to-date with key media industry news and editorial movements.

What you have:

  • Fluency in English and German
  • Previous online Customer Service & database entry experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work
  • Ability to conduct productive research via internet and telephone
  • Relationship building and maintaining relationships
  • Able to multi-task
  • Experience of the media industry ideal but not necessary
  • Computer literate (MS Office)

  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Self-motivation: Target and data driven. Meets objectives and standards on own initiative including repetitive tasks.
  • Teamwork: team player with an interest in the business dynamics.
  • Organisation: works systematically, uses time efficiently; ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines without direct supervision
  • Response to change: adaptable, interested in learning and developing to meet changing situations, an enthusiastic approach to the introduction of new technology
  • Confidentiality: due regard must be shown with all knowledge and information relating to Company finances and clients. Must also comply with Company policy and respect all Company property and equipment
