Media Operations Specialist

As a Media Operations Specialist you can expect to support, manage, optimize and report on media campaigns for a portfolio of clients as part of a broader team. Successful team members in this role will demonstrate the ability to support ongoing media efforts for clients in strong collaboration with other team members. You’ll be responsible for hands-on-keyboard activation of digital channels - inclusive of tagging, trafficking, buying, etc. - and how to use the right digital platforms - and use them well - to achieve media and business goals. We ensure consistency, governance, and support around platform usage and activation activities and aid in all ongoing building, buying, optimization, and reporting efforts.

In this role you will

  • Build campaigns in accordance with best practices and client needs with minimal oversight: Set budgets and pacing, assign creatives to appropriate line items, assign campaign/IO/line item-level targeting (mid-/low-level object targeting), terminology & hierarchy, implications of different setups, advertiser setup and linkage, tagging across in-scope platforms, channel overlap and interplay
  • Execute campaigns and adjacent tasks in accordance with best practices and client needs; conduct optimization analysis and make corresponding updates, recommend omnichannel strategic adjustments when relevant, monitor overall health of campaign in-flight - budgets, pacing, performance, create, provide, and monitor necessary reporting infrastructure, complete and present summary/wrap-up deliverables, campaign-relevant decks & other content
  • Review open tickets (cases) and provide updates to clients, troubleshoot issues on in-scope platforms: troubleshoot campaign issues, provide platform updates. offer recommendations based on best practices, follows escalation path & escalates issues accordingly, uses various internal & external resources, appropriately communicates cause/effect and next steps
  • Conduct regular administrative tasks as assigned by Manager: provide client billing support; assist on general financial operations
  • Conduct client meetings & platform training(s) with minimal oversight, Proactively work on solutions, Interpret verbal/written cues to ask questions, anticipate additional asks/needs, communicate clearly
  • Advise clients on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and how this impacts them.
  • Develop and grow relationships with client-side stakeholders (partners at Google, Meta and other key Media players) in order to ascertain business needs and craft the best strategic and tactical approach.
  • Must demonstrate an ability to: meet self-imposed and external deadlines, to honor and deliver on verbal & written commitments, to exhibit attention to detail on own work, to utilize professional formatting on own work

Experience you already have

  • 2-4 years experience implementing Paid Media campaigns in a technology company or end-advertiser.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and Social platforms.
  • Strong data analysis abilities, Google Analytics & Data Studio experience is desirable.
  • Excellent consultative approach when developing and managing business relationships.
  • Innovative thinker who brings ideas and strategies to life.
  • Flexible, versatile and driven to obtain new skills and scale knowledge to take on uncharted territory.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork. 
  • Intermediate English communication, both written and spoken.
