Media Executive

The Media Account Executive will support their media account team under the direction of their Account Manager/Director. They will fulfil duties as specified by their Account Manager(s), with guidance from the Account Director. These duties will include account administration and media planning and buying. They will be enthusiastic and demonstrate a strong work ethic. They will be monitored for the quality of their work and their ability to work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to media teams in terms of reporting, client servicing and coordination with execution team
  • Build close working relationships with publishing suppliers
  • Manage day to day client requirement
  • Create weekly and final campaign delivery reports for Media; reconcile with insertion orders and interact with finance team regarding invoicing closure
  • Understand client’s business domain and product to successfully assist in media planning
  • Execute detailed campaign plans, working with the wider account team and digital team to deliver account excellence
  • Build solid relationships with our client base, our publisher & partner network and within Dentsu group
  • Ensure required documentations are in place as per the aligned process for media campaign
  • Perform regular quality assurance/quality control checks on assigned client campaigns to ensure they are running as contracted
  • Quarterly tracking of competition and category trends
  • Proactively recommend creative and effective ways of engaging and converting the target audience.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1 to 2 years of media experience preferably working within the B2B space
  • Understanding of paid media basics especially digital media
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good command over written and spoken English is a must
  • Must be focused on customer service. Should possess good project management skill of prioritising work
  • Detail orientated with strong problem-solving skills    
  • Knowledge of ad-tech tools like DCM, Adform, IAS, Adobe Analytics – tagging, trafficking and reporting is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or in similar domain preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Especially Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
  • Strong written and presentation skills with the ability and confidence to deliver in front of senior stakeholders
