Key Focus Areas for this Role

  • Support media buying activities by managing and coordinating executions, identifying opportunities for improvement, and performing essential campaign duties. 
  • Focus on enhancing campaign performance, diagnosing issues, and providing insights through detailed reporting and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Perform Media Buying Responsibilities

  • Manage virtual assistants (VAs): Brief, coordinate and check executions
  • Manage ad campaigns: Monitor, trim, scale, add ads or rotate past performers
  • Takes initiative to spot opportunities and take action (includes ad pairing, improving workflows, or surfacing opportunities)
  •  Perform weekend/holiday duties (campaign checks)

Problem Diagnosis & Opportunity Identification

  • Media Buying: Identify gaps in account structure, test process, grad or win rates, targeting, placements, bid strategies, and ad set-up
  • Marketing: Identify gaps in message-market fit, untapped niches within the market, creative formats, placement-specific performance, etc.
  • Funnel: Identify gaps in post-click experience, including the landing page, mobile vs desktop, cross-sells/upsells, etc.

Measurement and Reporting

  • Familiarity with Google Sheets (including formulas like vlookups and features like pivot tables) is compulsory.
  • Sets up reports to track marketing performance and reflect the progress we're making.

Project Ownership

    • Demonstrate understanding of the strategic project outcome and constraints
    • Seeks ways to contribute meaningfully to the project outcome
    • Researches the market, product, and competition proactively to contribute valuable inputs
    •  Executes with agency and urgency
    • Takes items off the Senior Media Buyer's or other team member's plates to help them focus on their highest value area

    Requirements

    You are a great fit if you are/have

    • At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience working with DTC brands as a media buyer.
    • Strong work ethics - we built our brand to 9 figures in revenue profitably with ~30 full-time employees and this would not have happened without a strong work ethic and a mission-driven culture. We aim to build the brand to 10 figures by the end of the decade, and this requires a strong sense of commitment to build something together with like-minded people.
    • Analytical mindset - you should be comfortable working with data, analyzing key metrics, and understanding the fundamental marketing levers that drive performance.
    • Strong media buying skills - experienced in managing ad budgets, experimenting with campaign structures, and understanding the basics of manual bid strategies.
    • Project management – ability to identify goals, contribute to planning, and execute tasks effectively, adapting to real-time data and feedback to refine strategies and deliver quality results
    • Project coordination skills – ability to collaborate with other departments to ensure projects stay on track and within timelines.
    • Other important soft skills - resourcefulness, organization, independent, problem-solver

    Work Arrangement

    • This is a full-time position with a remote work arrangement
    • We work Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm SGT (GMT+8) and you will be required to coordinate with the team for at least 3 overlap hours a day in the SGT timezone
    • Preferably time zones are between GMT and GMT+13.
