Media Asset Workability Coordinator

Our technical services master and prepare this content in all distribution products including digital cinema, digital media, and physical media (Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD).

To date, we serviced thousands of titles for iTunes, Google Play, YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, Movies Anywhere and others. We also authored thousands of Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD discs. Our research and development team works on cutting-edge technologies such as 4K, high dynamic range (Dolby Vision, HDR10+), artificial intelligence and machine learning, software automation and our proprietary end-to-end operating platform branded as pHelix.

Responsibilities

  • Research, Stage and Fulfill all types of client assets into Pixelogic production systems in a timely manner.
  • Import assets from clients cloud shared services to Pixelogic production systems.
  • Assist project managers and encoders in ensuring the workability of assets.
  • Amend & Solve Needs Review tasks that is flagged by encoders and QCs that are related to the Asset workability.
  • Metadata and Artwork Data Entry into metadata portal.
  • Track all flagged tasks and follow-up on their updates.
  • Actively suggest edits to documentation and workflow.
  • Escalate all issues as they come up if deadlines are in jeopardy, especially for media assets that are associated with sensitive, high-profile titles.
  • Represent and uphold all departmental policies and procedures and maintain an exceptional level of service for both external and internal clients.
  • Ensure the security protocols are followed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College/University or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a data operations environment is preferred.
  • Understanding of media including metadata, XMLs, audio and video formats, codec etc.
  • Familiarity with post-production stages and workflow management.
  • Very good with MS office skills (Excel, Power point, Word).
  • Data Entry prior experience is preferred.
  • Adobe Premiere Knowledge is a Plus.
  • Understanding of computer networks including production networks, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Strong Time management and task prioritizing skills.
  • Strong English Communication skills.
  • Strong Attention to detail.
