The main treatment process will include the following key stages:
- Flow Balancing of influent streams
- Catalytic Oxidation and Cyanide Treatment
- DAF clarification for TSS oily waste removal
- Biological Treatment / MBBR and Bio-DAF clarification
- Submerged Ultra-Filtration (SUF) pre-treatment for high grade reuse stream
- Reverse Osmosis for removal of soluble salts to produce high grade process water for reuse
- Mixed Bed Ion Exchange (MBIX) to generate a highgrade demineralised water for reuse.
- Brine will be treated through Multilfo, Ozonation, BAF, break point chlorination and GAC
- Sludge will be dewatered
Main Accountabilities
The role involves ensuring compliance with client specifications, managing document submissions, liaising with vendors, and evaluating technical aspects for quotes. It also encompasses managing engineering change notices, providing support for tenders, and participating in customer meetings. Additionally, the position includes leading the project or tender engineering team, applying safety and quality procedures, and maintaining control narrative editions.
Technical
- Oversee and coordinate all engineering aspects including E&IC and CAD.
- Review all Mechanical datasheets, lists and calculations.
- Review all CAD drawings, vendor drawings and calculations.
- Keep track of E&IC documents submission.
- Review the list of documents and its respective submission dates.
- Ensure all equipment, piping and valves are according to specifications.
- Assist Project Execution/Procurement departments to correspond with the vendors on technical aspects.
- Ensure all interfaces with other disciplines engineering and dept are properly executed.
- Liaise with the vendors and evaluate technical aspects of all quotes and make recommendations.
- For all outsourced design activities, to supervise and ensure designs done by contractors are of good quality and accurate as per the requirements.
- Manage Engineering Change Notice.
- Attend client meetings together with the project manager.
- Edition control narrative with E&IC engineer from the control philosophy.
- Conduct analysis to ensure the integrity and performance of mechanical designs for water treatment applications.
- review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing, assembly, and installation of mechanical components and equipment
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations in all mechanical designs
