We are actively looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will join our team in supporting an important client operating in the energy sector.
You will design mechanical cabinets, parts and related accessories for electrical cabinets. Also perform FEM analysis of mechanical and structural parts.
You will be inserted in the Electrical Technical Office and will have the task to design and to develop mechanical solutions for electrical low voltage cabinet, in particular for Energy applications (power conversion cabinet). Furthermore you will collaborate with other electrical designers reporting to the Mechanical Team Leader.
- Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Fluent Italian and/or fluent English (read/written/spoken).
- At least 3 years of experience in the mechanical design of electric cabinets is necessary.
- Capacity to develop and to innovate mechanical layout of electrical cabinet, for indoor and outdoor applications.
- Capacity to develop mechanical parts of electrical cabinets like plinths, brackets, supports, cooling systems, etc.
- Capacity to develop mechanical prototype by using structural and thermal calculations/software.
- Capacity to standardize parts and products.
- Capacity to industrialize solutions or products.
- Write and read technical specifications and functional descriptions.
- Good knowledge of mechanical 3D/2D integrated design by using 3D software (Inventor is mandatory. Capacity to use Fusion 360 or CATIA or NX is a plus).
- Good knowledge of norms and standards for mechanical drawing.
- Flexibility, problem solving and creativity is necessary.
