Mechanical Engineer - Robotics Assembly

Athens, Greece

iKnowHow SA is a leading Software & Robotics Solutions company operating internationally. Within just a couple of years, our team grew up more than 80%, we moved into a new spacious and modern office, and we kicked off 2024 with several new and exciting projects in digital transformation, custom software, and robotics.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer, who will be responsible for the assembly of robotics systems. The role demands hands on Assembly and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and software developers to ensure the successful integration and functionality of mechanical components.

Assembly and Testing

  •  Perform the assembly of robotics systems, ensuring all components are correctly installed and functioning.
  • Implement assembly processes, including standard operating procedures and quality control measures.
  • Contact tests to evaluate the performance and reliability of robotics systems, identifying and resolving any issues.
  • Contribute to the technical documentation.

 

Installation and Setup in the Field

  • Execute test plans, procedures and protocols for Commissioning activities.
  • Perform calibration and fine-tuning of components to achieve optimal functionality.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • 3+ years in mechanical assembly
  • Strong Knowledge of mechanical systems, materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in CAD and LINUX software.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent English language skills
  • 30% travel in Greece and abroad

Nice to have:   

  • Experience with robotic systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and software integration.
