Growing government contractor looking to bring on a Mechanical Engineer.   ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a mechanical engineer for the Tactical Hardware business area, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing, building, and testing a torpedo tube deployment system capable of launching payloads from a submarine platform.   We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Design of electro-mechanical systems capable of surviving harsh environmental conditions (shock, vibration, temperature); Proficiency utilizing CAD tools to create 3D models and drawings for technical data packages that meet ASME Y14.5 and ASME Y14.100 standards; Experience performing structural and thermal analyses to meet submarine environmental requirements. Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
