About the role:
Our client is a product strategy, design, and development agency that works side-by-side with ambitious companies, brands, and founders to execute their holistic approach to strategy, design, and engineering.
We are looking for a MEAN Stack Developer to join our team. The team manages ongoing development for existing internal applications. These include applications used by consultants and clients all around the world.
Some of the main responsibilities for this role include:
Collaborate on the development of new applications and features.
Partner with product managers to refine solution scope.
Apply lean principles to deliver value to customers early.
Manage and improve intra-team relationships.
Work with team members to develop specifications and technical designs for complex projects using a combination of out-of-the-box features and custom code.
Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully.
Identify production risks and areas for improvement; prioritize, design, and facilitate successful implementation and adoption of new processes
Job Skills/Requirements
- +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) with excellent communication skills
- 3-5 years prior development experience
- Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue
- Knowledge of development using the MEAN stack
- Experience using the Node.js framework; this just needs to be familiar. They don’t have to be an expert
- Experience with MongoDB. Strong understanding of data structures and data modeling
- Experience with .NET is a big plus, especially experience with .NET Core
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex requirements and combine them with best practices to translate them into functionality
- Experience with Agile development practices and a sprint delivery model
- Able to work independently and lead projects of moderate complexity
