Materials Handler (Administrator)

Site based- Aylesford

£28,080 per annum

45 hrs per week (7am - 4pm Monday to Friday)

So, what’s the mission?

You'll be based at our Aylesford site, a dedicated distribution site.

Flexibility is essential, you must be prepared to work across all loading activities. As part of a small, three-person yard team, you'll take on a variety of responsibilities, including administrative tasks, answering phone calls, processing and preparing orders, responding to customer inquiries, as well as picking, loading, and unloading products.

You will become highly knowledgeable about our entire product range, mastering every shade and form we offer.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading goods
• Handling inbound and outbound goods
• Warehousing
• Housekeeping duties
• Correct product identification
• Adherence to Health and Safety practice

What are the mission-critical skills?

• Demonstrate previous experience in a similar role
• The job holder will hold a valid fork lift truck licence and be able to operate essential handling equipment.  
• Ideally offer previous experience in stock management, and reporting.
• Have a strong safety awareness with a proven track record of maintaining high safety standards for self and others in the workplace.
