As the Material Testing Technician you will support the Material Testing Engineering and the Quality Assurance Team in the execution of Destructive and Non Destructive tests, required during the composite manufacturing process within the Volocopter POA:
Your mission during this flight:
- Conduct Ultrasonic Testing (UT) using advanced ultrasonic inspection techniques
- Preparation of the test specimen
- Set up and execution of test activities
- Collection and first verification of the data
- Test report preparation
- Document test results and Test report preparation
- Set up and execution of calibration verification activities
Check in your professional skills:
- Technical education (z.B. Berufskolleg oder Fachschule) or a completed Ausbildung as a Material Inspector, Laboratory Technician, or a similar area.
- Knowledge and experience on the following matters:
- Non-Destructive (NDT) with a focus on Ultrasonic testing techniques
- Destructive test methodologies
- Competence and a certification as an Ultrasound NDI inspector as per EN4179 or NAS410 are considered as a plus (Zertifizierung für die zerstörungsfreie Prüfung mit Ultraschall, gemäß EN 4179, or NAS410))
- German language skills (min. B1) and English language skills (min. B2)
- Valid driving license class B
