Material Processing Technician

Luxium Solutions in Milford, NH is searching for a Material Preparation Technician to join our Growth team! The daily responsibilities of this technician include operating material processing equipment, material transfer/handling/packaging of loads up to 50 lbs., and intermittent work with hazardous chemicals or high temperature environments. This individual will track progress in production control software to ensure correct inventory and labor hours are allocated.

Starting wage: $20/hour

Hours: M-F 6:00am-2:30pm

Essential Functions:

• Operate material preparation equipment and prepare chemicals for processing feed materials.
• Setup material preparation equipment.
• Maintain necessary logs and records and data entry.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical/trade school degree or certificate in machining preferred.
• Minimum of one year Manufacturing experience required.
• Basic PC skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and use shop math.
• Due to the nature of the position, additional PPE outside of the normal standards will be required.
• Ability to lift up to 20-40 pounds regularly.
