Job Summary:

Trackonomy is seeking a skilled and proactive Production Planner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the flow of products through the entire production cycle to meet both our internal financial goals and customer delivery dates. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely production of high-quality products, supporting our mission to deliver innovative solutions to our customers.

This role will be onsite in Juarez, MX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Management: Coordinate between the warehouse and purchasing teams to address material shortages and ensure a smooth production process.
  • Production Planning & Scheduling: Plan, schedule, and monitor the flow of products through the production cycle, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company goals.
  • Order Management: Review open sales orders to determine customer needs and coordinate the timely delivery of parts to meet production schedules.
  • Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with the purchasing team to expedite supplier orders as needed, ensuring material availability for production.
  • ERP System Utilization: Leverage ERP software to auto-generate and release manufacturing work orders to the warehouse for kit picking and production.
  • Customer Communication: Notify the sales team of any potential impacts on customer schedules and coordinate efforts to mitigate delays.
  • Production Monitoring: Expedite manufacturing builds to ensure production schedules are met, completing status reports on production progress, customer information, and inventory levels.
  • Decision-Making: Exercise sound judgment within defined procedures to determine the appropriate course of action for various production-related challenges.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as required to support the production and operational goals of Trackonomy.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent required; additional education in a related field is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of production and processing, including raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in the use of computer systems and software applications; in-depth knowledge of ERP or MRP software is preferred.
  • Customer Interaction: Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of materials planning experience in a related industry.
  • Language: Must be fluent in both Spanish and English
  • Team Collaboration: A team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
