Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Operator/Material Handler who will be working in our St. Marys, PA location. This person will report to Production Supervisor.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- To operate equipment related to grinding and similar functions
- To perform operations required to operate hi-lift, power and hand trucks for material and part handling
- To efficiently and safely operate equipment, including the making of satisfactory adjustments to ensure product quality
- To efficiently and safely operate moving equipment and satisfactorily move/bring materials to the proper locations
- Legibly record and maintain applicable product/process information
- Effectively utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from its use to insure continuation of control conditions
- Provide active input to continuous process improvement
- Effectively communicate job related information to co-workers, supervisors, service areas and others with a need to know
- Maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areas
- Reliable, consistent attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Forklift experience preferred
Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
