Material Handler

Will maintain an accurate inventory of parts at the designated locations and will be responsible for moving inventory to and from the receiving docks, expediting when appropriate.

Requirements

·         Maintain a safe work environment; adhere to safety policies, procedures, and processes.

·         Operates forklift and other material handling equipment to move parts to point of use on production floor.  Expedite parts when needed.

·         Set up material storage racks, bins, carts, etc. for proper storage online to prevent damage or loss.

·         Create and maintain bins and drop areas for part deliveries and removal.

·         Support production in lifting and moving of materials on production floor.

·         Accurately count parts and cycle count parts when directed.  File rejected parts on a daily basis.

·         Move and empty trash containers into appropriate hoppers.

·         Recording part shortage information in appropriate areas and leadership.

·         Receives work direction from department leader.

·         All other duties as assigned.
