We’re looking for a Marketplace Fraud Intern to join our Marketplace Trust & Safety team to build high trust platform for all Glints users, ensuring our marketplace is safe and trusted by our users.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of our job marketplace. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously review and process job reports submitted by candidates, promptly investigate potential fraudulent activities, and manage dispute resolutions effectively. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement preventive measures, detect patterns of fraudulent behavior, and maintain the trust of our users. Your keen attention to detail, analytical skills, and commitment to upholding ethical standards will be crucial in maintaining a secure environment for all stakeholders.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Review and process job reports submitted by candidates regarding suspicious or fraudulent activities.
- Conduct thorough investigations into reported cases of fraud, utilizing available tools and resources to gather evidence and assess credibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Relations and Sales, to escalate and resolve fraud cases efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of fraud cases, documentation, and investigative findings for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders regarding the status of fraud investigations and resolutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and landscape.
- Help Junior Assistant Manager, assess and decide on a case-by-case basis measurements should be taken with regard to special investigations, and work with the operations team to follow-up, execute and pass exceptions into standard processes.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies related to fraud detection and prevention

Who We Are Looking For
- 0 - 1 year of experience in KYB or KYC operation/(QC) quality control/Fresh graduates with previous internship(s) experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify irregularities or patterns indicative of fraudulent behavior.
- Proficiency in Excel/Spreadsheet (pivot, complex formula)
- Enjoy working with datasets (SQL is a plus)
- Team player and good communicator
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both verbal and written communication)
- Familiarity with fraud prevention tools, techniques, and software platforms is desirable.
