The Role
We are seeking a marketing lead for Palantir’s defense marketing and branding efforts. This person will be responsible for creating and executing a successful defense marketing strategy for an industry-leading dual-use technology company. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders in communications, business development, government affairs, engineering, and product. This is an operational role that will support the defense portfolio.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to support the planned growth of Palantir’s defense portfolio and key programs.
- Create compelling government-specific narratives and content, including use case-based value propositions, videos, customer stories, sales scripts, pitch decks, and white papers.
- Increase overall awareness and understanding of Palantir’s brand with key defense and national security stakeholders, including customers, policymakers, and partners.
- Support end-to-end planning and execution of events, including booths and speaking engagements at external conferences; operationalize lead capture and sales follow-up from field marketing events, gated content, and other inbound leads.
- Collaborate with internal teams as well as external customers and partners.
What We Value
- 5-8 years of experience in executing integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Willingness to take a hands-on and proactive approach to getting stuff done.
- Outcome focused marketer with the ability to distill complex topics and technical details into accessible narratives and talking points.
- Passion for storytelling with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience developing and deploying marketing content and campaigns for government audience.
- Ability to think both analytically and creatively.
- Strong attention to detail and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
What We Require
- Familiarity with Salesforce, online advertising tools (LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads, Google AdWords, programmatic ads, etc.), social analytics tools (Meltwater, Brandwatch, etc.), and email tools (Marketo, MailChimp, etc.).
- Preferred experience working in defense and national security sectors with US government stakeholders.
Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $100,000 - $144,000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
