Marketing Technology Specialist

Job Description The Marketing Technology Specialist is responsible for optimizing the Marketing division's performance using technology to meet company goals. This includes enhancing the entire marketing technology stack, video and audio systems, and virtual event platforms. They'll combine strategic thinking, problem-solving, technical expertise, and teamwork to track, analyze, test, and improve digital campaigns and produce high-quality marketing content. The Marketing Technology Specialist will analyze business needs in collaboration with the Marketing Technology Manager, the IT division, and other divisions to recommend, implement, and optimize marketing tools and production equipment. Furthermore, they will contribute to systems designed to enhance the company's ability to attract, nurture, and convert users across various digital channels. This is a full-time position with hybrid and on-site opportunities available. Responsibilities
  •  Partner with the Digital Marketing department to help grow our marketable list size, driving funnel velocity, improving segmentation capabilities, etc.
  • Provide technical support for the Multimedia department in creating and delivering top-quality video and audio content
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices for marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Hubspot and CRM systems
  • Understand current privacy and data security initiatives that may impact the business, i.e., GDPR, CCPA, etc.
  • Identify time-consuming internal processes and assist in building reliable and scalable solutions to automate them
  • Maintain global processes including data strategy, enrichment, standardization, scoring, nurturing, routing, segmentation, etc.
  • Contribute to our Martech stack which includes but is not limited to: Marketo, Bizzabo, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ad Words, Informatica, Instapage, GoToWebinar, Riverside FM, Wistia integration with Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, and Marketing to CRM integration
  • Scope out software and hardware needs to support marketing activities such as webinars, podcasts, events, etc.
  • Provide onboard training and regular training updates to all systems within our Martech stack
  • Provide technical support for marketing associated live and virtual events in collaboration with the IT division
  • Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology or a related field is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience utilizing Martech stack including but not limited to Marketo, Bizzabo, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ad Words, Informatica, Instapage, GoToWebinar, SquadCast, integration with Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, and Marketing to CRM integration
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • 3+ years of experience in a Marketing Technology or similar role
  • Strong understanding of data management principles including data cleaning, integration, and reporting
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Audio and Visual experience is a plus
  • Pay
    Based on the Sacramento region, the new hires target salary for this role is $77k - $87k. This role will be paid hourly. 

    Inductive Automation’s ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Although it is not typical for an individual to start at the top end of the range for the position, compensation decisions are dependent on: the facts and circumstances of each case, work location, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs.
