Who are we looking for?

As a blossoming marketer, you have a passion for solving customer needs, are obsessed with communications media and the latest top performing trends, and are an effective visual communicator. The ideal candidate will be passionate about business selling, have a strong understanding of the financial services ecosystem, and be a desktop publishing ninja able to bootstrap an idea from concept to launch.

What will you be doing?

As the Marketing Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving growth for Pinwheel. You will work on customer acquisition campaigns, ensure our sales team is armed with best-in-class presentation materials, and learn from some of the industry’s most innovative leaders across Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market. 

  • Develop deep knowledge of our and our customers’ business. Be a powerful storyteller with customer empathy, motivations, and pain points. 
  • Activate our campaigns on Hubspot, flexing your creative and analytical muscles to test messages and measure results
  • Collaborate closely with sales on Account Based Marketing, defining and operating processes to ensure full visibility, alignment, and coordinated funnel activities with SDRs and Account Execs
  • Develop creative and effective marketing campaigns and materials for various channels and platforms, such as landing pages, blogs, social media, newsletters, whitepapers, guides, one pagers, etc.
  • Partner closely with Pinwheel HR on Employer Brand and employee activations
  • Manage annual marketing plan and budget, reporting periodically to our Executive Team on campaign based results

What experience, skills, and qualifications are necessary?

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 1-3 years of experience in a B2B marketing role - financial services or tech preferred, internships acceptable
  • Highly collaborative with proven track record for team mentality
  • Exceptional presentations skills with emphasis on basic graphic design, layout, editing 
  • Working knowledge of demand gen platforms, Hubspot preferred 
  • Experience with campaign measurement
  • Strong project management skills, able to work backwards from deadlines to develop cross-functional work plans
  • Self starter comfortable working in a hybrid office environment if located in New York City

At Pinwheel, total compensation is made up of salary + equity + benefits. We recruit motivated and high performing talent, and work to compensate people in line with the value they can bring to the organization in delivering outsized results. The talent market is competitive, and maintaining our ability to recruit and retain the best team possible is a top priority for Pinwheel. When creating an offer, we consider interview performance, candidate experience, external market competitiveness, and internal equity in thoughtfully assessing compensation. The expected cash salary range for this role is $60,000 - $85,000.
