As Marketing Specialist for Online Grocery, you will be a key player in driving our growth initiatives for PC Express. Reporting to the Sr. Manager Online Grocery Marketing, you’ll create, coordinate, and execute strategic growth initiatives aimed at increasing customer acquisition, loyalty and enabling new capabilities. You will collaborate with various teams on the development and execution of marketing campaigns and go-to-market plans. You will use data-driven insights to measure and report on program success, business results, as well as identifying opportunities for optimization and future improvement.

What you’ll do:

Planning: 20%
· Work with the Sr. Marketing Manager to plan growth initiatives across owned, paid and earned channels with a focus on driving customer acquisition, loyalty and business results
· Collaborate with various teams to gather inputs, requirements, business needs for growth initiatives (Ex. seasonal programs, key moments, category accelerators, regional focus areas, new product launches…)

Execution: 60%
· Develop go-to-market plans and execution tactics for growth initiatives from end-to-end
· Prepare creative briefs, manage campaign calendars and projects ensuring a timely launch
· Review creative recommendations and provide feedback ensuring alignment with brand positioning, tone, and business needs
· Collaborate with Customer Relationship Growth team on the prioritization, segmentation, and deployment of program messaging across channels (email, site, app)
· Collaborate with broader teams to include PC Express initiative messaging across their channels (in-store, other business unit channels…)
· Collaborate with digital agency on paid channel assets, execution, and performance
· Demonstrate strong collaboration and influencing skills to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives
· Support broader Growth and Marketing team as required

Reporting: 20%
· Use internal tools and external platforms to report on campaign performance, key learnings, and business results
· Report on new growth initiatives, channels, and messaging tests to develop best practices models and execution playbooks
· Use learnings from previous campaigns and tests to recommend future improvements
· Contribute to overall growth strategy development and planning

Does this sound like you?

  • 2-4 years in Marketing or related experience, preferably retail or e-commerce
  • Understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce principles and best practices
  • Experience executing digital marketing tactics using various tools
  • Ability to generate meaningful business and customer insights from disparate data
  • Growth mindset – you know there’s always a better way to do things and are willing to disrupt yourself or the status quo, customer obsessed with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, able to prioritize multiple projects while working effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment with constant change
  • You easily build relationships and can work with teams across multiple roles and functions
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must
  • Undergraduate degree in a related discipline an asset
  • Understanding of basic HTML and web markup an asset
  • Experience with SQL and analytics platforms an asset
