About the Role:

Airbase is looking for a Marketing Project Manager for a full-time, remote position in a fast-paced startup environment. The Marketing Project Manager will be the single point of contact and liaison between stakeholders and the Marketing teams, including Creative, Content, Email, Performance Media, Sales Managers, BDR Leaders, RevOps & MarketingOps. The Marketing Project Manager will support the implementation and execution of creative/marketing deliverables and inbound/integrated/outbound campaigns by processing incoming project requests, assessing project needs, coordinating day-to-day project workflows, and providing client updates.

What You’ll Do:

  • Run kick-off and check-in calls with cross-functional teams including stakeholders and contributors 
  • Break down silos by communicating across teams to push cross-functional projects to completion
  • Drive stakeholder, approver, and contributor accountability through the relentless enforcement of due dates and effective escalation to leadership
  • Autonomously lead multiple projects, including demonstrated ability to meet commitments, build consensus, negotiate resolutions, and garner respect from other teams.
  • Translate project vision into clear and actionable tasks, ensuring the creative teams have a comprehensive understanding of expectations.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to maintain applicable resource relations. 
  • Advise team leads and business stakeholders on key milestones, project updates, and forecast project risks along the project lifecycle. 
  • Drive the approval process through appropriate channels to ensure project objectives and timelines are achieved. 
  • Lead project scheduling to avoid last-minute projects and rush points, keep project owners apprised of status. 
  • Proactively seek out best practices to improve consistency and effectiveness for a seamless project execution. 
  • Stay informed of current project management tools and industry standards to achieve efficiencies and streamlined processes. 
  • Regularly evaluate and identify shifts in our methodology to drive more efficiency, clearer communication, and more predictable project results

About You:

  • 4+ YOE in a Project Management position, PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience working and thriving in an early-stage technology company
  • 4+ years experience maintaining cross-functional projects in a project management platform, preferably Asana and using waterfall methodology
  • Clear understanding of and experience with waterfall project management methodologies and the DACI framework.
  • Work with a high level of accuracy and a sense of project ownership.
  • Must work in a continental USA time zone (PT, MT, CT, ET).
  • Attention to detail with a willingness to change plans as needed
  • Ability to “push back” on stakeholder expectations when they don’t line up with bandwidth or budget constraints
  • Clear written and verbal communication with the ability to synthesize and summarize key points effectively
  • Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds, roles, and personalities.
  • Ability to work EST or PST hours
