Marketing Operations Manager

About the Role: As the Marketing Operations Manager, you will lead our Marketing Operations team within our newly formed Marketing Center of Excellence (COE). Reporting to the Marketing India Site Lead, you will oversee the operational efficiency of our Marketing organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and driving the execution of marketing campaigns, contract management, budget oversight, performance analysis, stakeholder management, and process optimization.

What you’ll be doing:

Campaign Management and Execution:

  • Lead the planning and operational execution of field and partner marketing campaigns, ensuring end-to-end delivery from inception to completion.
  • Manage multiple campaigns concurrently, ensuring efficiency and alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Supervise swag inventory management, including tracking shipments, returns, and maintaining inventory levels.

Contract and Budget Management:

  • Review marketing contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, collaborating closely with legal and procurement teams.
  • Manage marketing budget planning and allocation, ensuring resources are strategically aligned with business objectives.

Performance Analysis and Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct thorough quality checks on campaign results to ensure accurate lead capture and funnel reporting.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues related to funnel reporting, lead data capture, and routing.
  • Utilize data analysis to optimize campaign performance and drive continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment of Marketing Operations with business objectives and priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns related to Marketing Operations.

Process Improvement and Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities for improving Marketing Operations processes, leveraging process excellence methodologies to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize existing processes, implementing best practices and tools to improve productivity and effectiveness within the team.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Manage and mentor a team of Marketing Operations Specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams, including marketing, analytics, procurement, and legal/privacy.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Should be able to roll up sleeves and provide hands-on assistance to the team wherever necessary, demonstrating flexibility and readiness to support team members.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has 8+ years of experience in marketing operations or a related field, with a strong track record of managing teams and achieving results.
  • Has 3-5 years of experience in a people management role, successfully managing and developing a team
  • Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in campaign execution and data analysis.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating effectively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Exhibits a data-driven mindset with a passion for leveraging marketing technology and tools to drive business outcomes.
  • Has experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, Zip, Coupa, Netsuite & Tableau or other alternatives.
  • Familiarity with any ticketing tools would be a plus.
  • Shows strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights to optimize marketing initiatives.
  • Good to have familiarity with cybersecurity principles and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
