RVO Health is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to contribute to our mission of promoting health and wellbeing for all. In this role, you will be responsible for executing all lifecycle marketing email/SMS efforts and being a SME across the email/push/SMS channels. You will work on both the Optum Perks and the Prevention businesses within RVO Health (Real Appeal, Wellos, Quit for Life, etc).

As the Marketing Operations Manager for the lifecycle team, you will play a key role in optimizing our marketing operations. Your expertise will guide the execution of email campaigns, in-app messaging, and SMS. You'll be responsible for implementing measurable lifecycle marketing campaigns aligned with our core key performance indicators (KPIs) and owning email/SMS reporting. Your primary focus will be on optimizing our communications and experiences to ensure they are flawless, consumer-centric, measurable, and impactful. Additionally, you will continuously measure and optimize these initiatives for ongoing success.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute email and SMS messages, customer journeys, automation, testing plans, and identifying technical and data requirements for implementation. Collaboration with marketing and technology teams will be crucial in identifying areas for improvement and maximizing business impact.

What You’ll Do

  • As the ESP subject matter expert (SME), you will scope, architect, and guide the automation and integration of email, mobile push, and SMS campaigns throughout the customer journey for all businesses, ensuring accurate data flow accuracy
  • Coordinate and complete the migration of all programs to SFMC to Iterable (2024-2025)
  • Manage marketing technology and automation, analyzing behavior, conversion data, customer journeys, funnel analysis, and multi-channel attribution to drive strategic conversations and enable digital initiative strategies.
  • Create and manage preference centers and optimal experience for consumers
  • Conduct regular and thorough quality assurance (QA) testing of customer journeys within the ESP to ensure seamless execution and compliance with defined business requirements
  • Work cross-functionally to become the SME for customer data
  • Develop, scale, and execute data-driven retention marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Within Iterable – utilize and set up data extensions, scheduling automated emails and SMS, publication lists, setup journeys, decision splits and A/B tests, UTMs, code emails, adjust HTML with tables, padding, bullets + be SME/owner of data within the ESP
  • Drive department goals through discovery, implementation, and improved tech stack capability utilization
  • Analyze results of marketing campaigns using applicable metrics and develop/manage plans to optimize future performance
  • Architecture and integration skillset and experience required as we launch and enhance capabilities in a fast-paced environment

Above all else you’ll be the owner of your work and the projects that you’re responsible for.

What We’re Looking For

  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, or relevant experience.
  • Ideal candidate is ambitious, scrappy, proactive, curious, self-starter, organized, can lead and drive their own projects
  • Knowledge of standard methodologies for core digital channels including website, email, SMS/MMS, mobile, social media, SEO, SEM, display, and native advertising.
  • Within Iterable or comparable ESP - preferred experience with Ampscrip/Handlebar, coding emails/HTML, lists and/or data extensions, scheduling, automation, file imports, journey validation, SMS, Push, CSS, mobile view, UTM tracking. At least 3 years of hands-on experience working within a customer engagement platform and 1 year of experience coding HTML emails
  • SQL experience preferred
  • Experience with digital tracking to prove the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Proficient in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and/or other analytics practices - Tableau, Databricks, and/or Looker or similar technology stack experience a plus.
  • 3+ years in marketing communication, business operations, marketing/sales operations, or a similar role.

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.

  • Starting Salary: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00
