The Marketing Manager for Wholesale Benefits is responsible for client related marketing initiatives, implementations, and deliverables. This position reports to the Wholesale Sales Manager and is a full-time, exempt role located in Newfront's Office in Seattle, WA. This role will be onsite, with the option to work on a hybrid remote schedule.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage Client-related Marketing implementation and deliverables.
  • Coordinate, with Head of Wholesale, the Annual Sponsorship arrangements for the Affinity Partners that contract with the Association Health Plans managed by AP. This includes negotiation and finalizing events and activities as well as annual dues. 
  • Collaborate with Newfront Marketing team on the strategy and needs of client materials for Wholesale Benefits, including updating and/or reviewing templates (client brochures, flyers, bulletins, value-proposition presentations) for each program.
  • Creating marketing and business capabilities and content in terms of development and requests for information (RFI).
  • Manage the development of all collateral and communications.
  • Work with stakeholders to implement purchaser campaigns, provide and pass content regarding social media, surveys, ad calendars, etc. Update content and links on program websites.
  • Develop client marketing plans and strategies.
  • Manage the AP Marketing Producer Distribution Channel through updating AP Producer presentations and AP Connect producer training presentations.
  • Work with corporate Marketing to create and manage events (e.g., recruit attendees, write invites, coordinate materials and swag for AP Producer events).
  • Develop and maintain inventory of branded corporate- and program-specific event materials.
  • Manage producer-specific email initiatives (client-specific E-blasts, client-specific newsletters, videos).
  • Responsible for tracking, measuring, and reporting metrics for specific activities.
  • Other client and AP ad-hoc special projects may be assigned/requested as needed (product representations at events, client-branded items, event managing).
  • Wholesale team liaison with Newfront for coordinating corporate and team events and activities throughout the year.
  • Coordinate Wholesale monthly team meeting, various team building activities and events as requested. 
  • May be assigned other responsibilities and tasks as needed.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills:  written, public speaking and presentation preparation.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills, professionalism, and tact.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suites.
  • Preferred knowledge of WordPress and/or other content management systems; MailChimp and/or other email platforms; video editing software.
  • Ability to be resourceful, take initiative, solve problems, and offer solutions.
  • Works well with others in a fast-paced environment and is responsive to co-workers and colleagues. Ability to train, delegate, provide oversight and give feedback.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to address issues and client needs.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to learn, adopt and train use of technology systems and software applications.
  • Excellent at multi-tasking and flexibility to manage ever changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to review internal/external deliverables to ensure accuracy.
  • Intermediate project planning and management.
  • Ability to forge relationships and build trust.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
  • Benefits experience preferred.
  • Prior brand marketing experience required. 

The pay range for this position in California, Washington, Colorado and New York at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $95,000 to $118,800yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an “at-will position,” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
