Key Responsibilities

  • Manage departmental A&P budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources.
  • Oversee development and execution of marketing plans and critically evaluate implementation effectiveness to achieve business objectives and marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with brand team and brand partners to develop marketing ideas & activations according to brands’ direction and growth.
  • Lead development of marketing budgets and ensure alignment to brand needs and marketing plans. Evaluate marketing expenditures, ROI, budget-to-actual variances according to net adjusted based performance.
  • Manage evaluation of market trends, competitor activities, and marketing plans according to changing markets and competitive conditions.
  • Strategize, plan and implement marketing ideas with the team, while managing A&P expenses that includes all media platforms, oversee promotion activation, trade marketing, roadshows, workshops, digital ads, PR activities, KOL liaison and digital content.     
  • Oversee the preparation of marketing reports/updates/analysis for management & brand presentation and decision-making.
  • Manage ongoing and create new relationships with external vendors (eg. event organizers, media, digital and PR agencies, retailers, malls, designers and 3rd parties for collaboration etc.) to negotiate and ensure smooth execution of marketing activities.
  • Lead and guide marketing team for total category to ensure all the above are planned & executed. 

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with a Degree or professional qualification in Marketing/Economics/Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the business and industry.
  • Experience in beauty / lifestyle / retail industry will be an added advantage.
  • Great interpersonal skills who can multi-task.
  • Possess experience in team leading.
  • Proficiencies in office productivity tools (eg. Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English (both written & spoken).
