Your Responsibilities

Deliver the Marketing Strategy: Lead the execution of the strategy, ensuring timely execution that aligns with business goals and drives measurable event success.

Plan, Develop and Execute Marketing Campaigns: Lead the end-to-end development of innovative, multi-channel marketing campaigns that effectively promote the new event, drive registrations, and build brand awareness.

Brand Development and Positioning: Define and shape the event’s brand identity, ensuring it stands out in the market as a must-attend experience.

Audience Segmentation and Targeting: Identify key audience segments and tailor marketing campaigns to engage each group effectively.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across operations, sponsorship, commercial, content, partnerships, and design to ensure seamless event execution in alignment with OKRs.

Budget Management and ROI Optimization: Take ownership of the marketing budget for the event, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently. Track marketing spend, optimize for cost-effective solutions, and report on ROI and campaign effectiveness.

Post-Event Reporting and Insights: After the event, conduct a thorough analysis of marketing performance, including attendee acquisition, brand perception, engagement, and feedback. Provide insights and recommendations for future marketing strategies.
Minimum Education Level
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Background Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- You will have an understanding & experience of digital (PPC, SEO, online advertising) and direct marketing.
- You will have database development and growth including segmentation / advanced targeting.
- You will have proven experience of building relationships with partners and stakeholders.
- You will have an analytical and questioning mindset.
- You will have exposure to design and print suppliers / agencies.
- You will have good copywriting skills.
- You will be technology savvy with an ability to quickly adopt and work with new technology solutions.
Desirable
- Ideally you will have experience of using marketing automation technology (preferably Eloqua or Adobe Experience Manager)
- Ideally you will have experience of working with CMS platforms (but coding knowledge not required).
- Ideally you will have experience of managing social media through scheduling platforms and experience of social media listening and sentiment analysis.
- Ideally you will have experience of marketing analytics and reporting platforms (Google Analytics/Adobe or others).
- Ideally you will have events marketing experience.
