Marketing Manager

Our goal is a European network of 1000 fast charging stations in prime locations, where all electric vehicles can charge with renewable energy from the sun and wind. Together with 300 colleagues, we have the ambition to build Europe's best fast-charging network. The Belgium team consists of 15+ people and is working from our Ghent office. We are the market leader in fast-charging in Belgium and have over 30 stations in Belgium. Your role

As Marketing Manager at Fastned Belgium, you are responsible for making the Fastned brand stand out in the market. You’ll identify and implement what needs to be done to make the Fastned stations the preferred place to charge for EV drivers, including visibility and complementary facilities. You will be working closely with your Belgium colleagues, the Commercial team in Amsterdam and external agencies. Your projects have a mixture of strategic and operational value, incl. the day-to-day management of all brand-related work in the Belgium market. We recently opened our first store in Brecht and we are starting a very exciting construction work in Gentbrugge. You will be the first commercial team member in Belgium and therefore are responsible for building relationships with car manufacturers, lease companies, and fleet owners. In concrete terms, this means you:

  • Act as the key commercial manager in the Belgium team and be the important link between the Global commercial team and the local team;
  • Increase the visibility of our stations and Fastned in general (PR: website, social media, articles, mailings, possibly also conferences, etc.), working together with the Commercial team in Amsterdam, the PR agency, and Public Affairs team in Belgium;
  • Improve the visibility and accessibility of our locations;
  • Analyze market developments to ensure Fastned is strongly positioned in the market, plan accordingly, and evaluate the impact of our efforts in the Belgium market;
  • Improve the quality of our locations based on local insights and international guidance;
  • Ensure that Fastned’s visual identity is applied and recognized in the Belgium market both externally and internally;
  • Manage or support in managing relationships with OEMs (car manufacturers), fleet owners and MSP (charge card) relationships relevant to Belgium;
  • Support our Network Development team when attracting/managing location partners;
  • Monitor and report on results and budgets.
