Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager supports the association to drive successful marketing and membership campaigns and initiatives. The Marketing Manager will have a strong understanding of marketing tools and social media platforms, impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Marketing Manager is passionate about the marketing technology function, has a knack for data collection and analysis, and enjoys collaborating with marketing professionals and other teams to achieve campaign success and meet and/or exceed revenue targets and sales goals.

Essential Functions:

1. Execute various elements of marketing plans to achieve organizational goals, including increasing membership, promoting events, products and services and enhancing brand visibility.

2. Lead digital marketing efforts, including website management, email marketing campaigns, social media presence, and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies.
- Support the execution of email marketing campaigns, including list management, A/B testing, and performance analysis. Ensure email campaigns comply with best practices and legal requirements (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
- Contribute to the administration and maintenance of marketing technology tools such as email marketing platforms, marketing automation software, website platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools. 

- Collaborate with the marketing team to set up and execute automated marketing campaigns, nurturing workflows, and lead scoring.

- Collaborate with various internal colleagues and external vendors to ensure the proper functioning and integration of these tools to streamline marketing processes.

3. Develop engaging content for various marketing channels, including blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, and more.
- Collaborate with content creators and others to ensure content is correctly formatted and optimized for various marketing channels and platforms.
- Collaborate with project managers to assist in content scheduling, tracking, and distribution across digital channels.

4. Market Research: Periodically conduct market research (e.g., surveys) to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for growth.

- Assist in data collection, cleansing, and segmentation to support targeted marketing efforts.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor campaign performance and key metrics.
- Collaborate with the VP of Marketing, Content and Member Services to analyze data and provide actionable insights that inform marketing strategies. 

5. Website Support:

- Assist in maintaining and updating the company website, ensuring content accuracy and user experience (UX) improvements.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).

6. Vendor Relations:

- Liaise with marketing technology vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. 
• Proven experience working with marketing technology tools and platforms. 
• Proficiency in using marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
• Hubspot certification.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy. 
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities. 
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed marketing decisions. 
• Excellent organizational and project management skills. 
• Familiarity with digital marketing channels and best practices. 
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
