What will you be doing?
Argus produces commercial conferences for the energy and commodities markets. We specialise in agriculture, chemicals, crude oil, energy transition, fertilizers, generation fuels, LPG, metals, oil products. Argus has dedicated conference teams in Houston, London, Moscow, Sao Paulo, Shanghai and Singapore, running a global portfolio of 40+ events.
We are currently seeking an experienced events marketer, to work with on our Fertilizer portfolio of events.
As the Conference Marketing Manager, you will drive the promotion of a portfolio of large-scale conference and exhibitions and will be integrally involved in the setting of overall strategic direction. Reporting to the Global Head of Conference Marketing, you will have ownership of the marketing campaigns for 6-8 conferences per year and be responsible for all planning, execution and monitoring of this activity. This will include analysis of past campaign performance, web content management, execution of email marketing campaigns, creation of dynamic collateral including digital brochures, infographics and videos, data build strategy, social and paid media activity, marketing partnerships with external associations and publications – in short, multi-channel activity which will drive delegate revenue on your events.
You will have experience in conference marketing with the adaptability to hit the ground running. You will need strong analytical skills, a natural inclination for collaboration and teamwork and the drive to push new ideas and deliver outstanding results.
