The role:

We are looking for a creative and experienced Marketing Manager to join our US team. This role is pivotal in driving our marketing efforts, specifically targeting K-12 educational leaders. You will be responsible for creating compelling content, writing copy, managing events, and executing strategic campaigns across various platforms, including LinkedIn and email. The ideal candidate has a background in marketing within the edtech sector or education and possesses excellent copywriting skills.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead Generation:
    • Utilise insights from customer behaviour, engagement metrics, and market trends to create a targeted and relevant email, event and content marketing plan
    • Utilise data to refine strategies and enhance overall campaign effectiveness
  • Content Creation and Copywriting:
    • Develop compelling and high-quality thought leadership content tailored for K-12 educational leaders
    • Write engaging copy for various marketing channels, including LinkedIn, email campaigns, blog posts, and white papers
    • Collaborate with the global marketing team to align content with overall branding and messaging
  • Event Strategy and Management:
    • Plan and execute in-person events aimed at engaging K-12 education professionals.
    • Develop event strategies that align with our marketing objectives and resonate with the target audience
    • Coordinate with event vendors, speakers, and internal teams to ensure successful event execution
  • Content Marketing for LinkedIn and Email:
    • Create and manage content marketing campaigns for LinkedIn and email that drive engagement and lead generation
    • Work with our Marketing Automation Specialist to develop targeted email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and convert them into sales opportunities
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of LinkedIn and email campaigns, making data-driven adjustments to improve results
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Work closely with a marketing manager, marketing automation specialist and graphic designer who are based out of Sydney, Australia to produce compelling content and marketing material
    • Coordinate with the US-based sales team to understand their needs and create content that supports lead generation and sales efforts
    • Collaborate with the global marketing team, adjusting work hours as needed to accommodate meetings across different time zones
  • Market Expansion and Growth:
    • Drive targeted marketing campaigns to expand ClickView's reach and growth in the US K-12 market
    • Identify new opportunities for market penetration and growth, leveraging industry trends and insights
    • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay ahead in the education technology space

This role requires:

  • Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within the edtech sector or education
  • An data-driven mindset with an analytical approach to lead generation
  • Strong copywriting skills with a portfolio of compelling content created for digital and traditional platforms
  • Experience in email marketing, including campaign development and performance analysis
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a global team
  • Flexibility to work across different time zones to coordinate with the global marketing team based in Australia
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and lead generation techniques

Desirable skills and experience include:

  • Experience as an educator or working within the education sector
  • Proficiency in using LinkedIn for professional content marketing and engagement
  • Knowledge of the US K-12 education landscape and its key challenges and opportunities
  • Experience in event strategy and management, particularly in the education sector
  • Previous experience in a lead generation role in an edtech or education-related company
