Marketing Manager, APAC

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Data & Digital Media (DDM) APAC Division who can take the lead in supercharging sales and marketing activities in support of ambitious regional growth plans. Our ideal candidate is someone who challenges conventions, brings new thinking, has a proactive mentality, and has solid experience delivering success in a marketing role within the data & digital media environment. 

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Help define and co-own the marketing strategy for our DDM APAC division
  • Support the refinement and roll-out of the agency new business development process
  • Provide leadership within the agency to effectively and efficiently manage the marketing calendar for both internal and external comms to support New Business activities
  • Understand the market landscape and how best to position ourselves against the competition
  • Own and manage the Marketing Calendar for our DDM division, including regular publishing of thought leadership (in partnership with our Regional & Central Marketing team), events, executive social media updates, etc.
  • Work with Regional and Central Marketing Team & website team to manage roadmap and backlog of website updates to best position our DDM division on owned website channels. This includes in-bound lead gen on the primary website and campaign landing pages. Analyze and report on inbound website traffic and lead quality and ensure proper handoff from inbound to growth / SME teams (from both a technical and strategic perspective)
  • Work with various media teams, other capabilities and Central Marketing Team to review all mass email comms. Ensure all Media-specific marketing & product comms are on-brand, adhering to best practices and are elevating our position and thought leadership via email communications
  • Ensure that all work and all contact with potential clients reflects the culture and mission of the agency and meets the highest standards for professionalism
  • Identify opportunities and events to target prospective clients, in conjunction with other relevant business leads.  Partnership with the central Events team to execute event marketing
  • Establish a thorough working knowledge of the agency proposition, capabilities, skills, case studies and other resources to support business development activities
  • Develop presentation materials, sales enablement materials, etc. to support internal and external comms

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years work in a media agency marketing and/or new business role with a demonstrated track record of success
  • Superior writing skills with the ability to deliver clear, creative, and concise communications across all forms of required business communication, including executive comms, agency credentials and presentations
  • Is a clear and engaging presenter/communicator
  • Strong industry connections (demonstrating connection in to successful events, publications and technologies)
  • Comfortable working with technical teams, with strong understanding of demand gen programs (i.e. website analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM/email programs, etc.)
  • Experience communicating insights in to marketing program effectiveness to internal stakeholders
  • Able to create, inspire and deliver a vision; able to establish leadership presence
  • Proven ability to interact effectively and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of roles, levels and departments within the agency
