The Role

We are seeking an exceptional Marketing Manager with a strong background in B2B marketing and a proven track record in driving brand awareness and generating qualified leads through compelling external messaging and digital marketing collateral. This individual will play a key role in crafting and conveying our value propositions to advertisers and publishers through various marketing channels, with emphasis on social media and email, to help solidify our position as a leader in search advertising on the open web. This role will report into the Director of Brand Marketing and Communications.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the social media strategy, managing the content calendar, ideation, creation, and community management to boost engagement and grow adMarketplace’s digital presence.
  • Build and optimize email marketing communication, campaigns, and newsletters, including the creation of nurture flows and segmentation strategies, using platforms such as Salesforce, MailChimp, or HubSpot.
  • Own digital marketing platforms for campaign execution and setup, as well as automating tasks and workflows.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of marketing efforts across social media and email, making data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns for lead generation and awareness.
  • Assist with the creation of digital marketing collateral, translating adMarketplace’s brand and value propositions into external-facing materials, such as blogs, case studies, and one-pagers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and demand teams to align on messaging and develop marketing initiatives that support business goals and nurture prospects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 1-2 years in digital marketing, ideally within a start-up environment.
  • Expertise in email marketing, including the ability to build nurture flows and manage campaigns using tools such as Salesforce, MailChimp, or HubSpot.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and developing content and strategies that drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with experience in both long-form content (e.g., blogs, whitepapers) and short-form copywriting (e.g., social posts, ad copy).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, collaborating with product, sales, and demand teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated, flexible self-starter who can manage projects independently and execute efficiently with quality
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strategic, solutions-oriented thinker who is agile and quick to learn
  • Prior adtech, online advertising, and SEO experience is a plus

*Compensation Range: $90,000 - $110,000 + Bonus

*This range represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of adMarketplace in the New York office. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
